Day Trip To Annual Sequim Lavender Festival

SEATTLE, WA - June 30, 2010 — Join Clipper Vacations aboard a deluxe motor coach as it heads over to sunny Sequim for the annual Lavender Festival. You will board in Seattle and enjoy a light breakfast as the coach heads north to catch the ferry for a scenic trip to the Olympic Peninsula.

Lavender will be visible all around as you arrive into the Sequim area and head directly out to several of the farms. There will be plenty of time to view the fields, smell the aroma, purchase plants and shop for lavender related goods in the quaint farm stores. A stop in town will allow time to have some lunch on your own and enjoy the Annual Lavender Festival Street Fair. Be sure to try some refreshing Lavender Lemonade and a Lavender scone, and perhaps bring home the recipe and some of the key ingredients.

The cost for adults is $86 (incl. tax) and that includes all transportation, ferry fares, entrance to Lavender farms, breakfast en route and a tour escort. Children (4-12) are $74. Excursion is offered July 16, 17 and 18 and pick ups are available at Pier 69 or Northgate about 7 or 7:30am. Return to Seattle will be about 7pm.
